Taking to some official websites etc, Naqvi also announced the decision to impose no restrictions for the coming weekend, keeping in view an improved Air Quality Index (AQI).

All public and private educational institutions under the administrative jurisdiction of the School Education and Literacy Department Government of Sindh would stay closed from December 22 to December 31, 2023, for winter vacation, according to decisions made during the steering committee meeting.
The educational institutions will reopen on Friday, January 1, 2024, following the winter vacation.
