Ehsaas Scholarship Program July 2023 This program is a program to help poor students who cannot maintain their stable position in society. The main objective of the Ehsaas Scholarship Program 2023 is to provide financial assistance to poor and deserving students who cannot pursue further studies. Due to inflation in the country, the quality of education is decreasing day by day. The government of Pakistan has started the Benazir Taleemi Wazaif Program to improve the quality of education.
New Update 2024:
Under these programs, the Government of Pakistan will provide financial assistance to students so that they can maintain their education. Given this need, scholarship programs are organized at domestic and foreign levels so that poor children can improve their futures through scholarships.
Poor and deserving students from disadvantaged backgrounds enter higher education at a rate of 0.4%, well below the national average of 10%. Sense of Emptiness aims to end this program of unequal educational access.

According to the National Human Development Report 2017, Pakistan is one of the youngest countries in the world. Realizing its population of about 220 million, more than half of which belong to the University H group. The Government of Pakistan’s priority is to work on programs that provide driver access to financially deserving individuals as well as encourage gender equality, and the strategy is to bring a larger segment of youth into higher education. Objectives of Ehsaas Scholarship Program 2024
An example of the policy of the Government of Pakistan is to support undergraduate-level students financially. Those who after completing FA, FSC, and intermediate can not study in a significant university due to limited financial resources or afford university fees are eligible to apply for registration in this program to achieve their life goals
In contrast to past financial aid schemes and programs that were aimed at Master’s or Ph.D. and those who have started it, got financial aid and fulfill their dreams as they want and their entire life.
The scholarship covers university tuition fees and stipends over a 4- or 5-year degree program in, Agriculture, Business Education, Engineering, Medicine, Physical Sciences, Arts and Humanities, Computer Science, Social Sciences, and vice versa. This is a great and impressive initiative of the Government of Pakistan and an appreciative step.

3℅ scholarships under the Ehsaas Program is reserved for those to uplift physically challenged students in any manner. It is an effective program that will facilitate the formation of skilled manpower thus increasing the employability influence among the new generation in our society or country. Due to the shortage of financial resources our new generation discontinued education and start labor work for the survival of their lives in these circumstances. So, The focus is to highlight the most endangered segment of the youth population.
So, the Individuals will be enabled to move out of the poverty line, which is expected to have a positive impact on their families and communities in the long run.
Eligibility Criteria of Ehsaas Scholarship Program
- Newly admitted students of the Spring 2023 session in a public sector university recognized in HEC
- Students who meet the eligibility criteria of need and provide authentic information according to the policy of the Ehsaas Scholarship Program.
- Admissions are reserved based on merit only. Merit means that the student has met the minimum admission criteria of the institution in which he wants to pursue his/her studies.
- Degree programs permitted by HEC.
- The age criteria are fixed by the institution’s regulations i.e. the maximum age for eligibility for the Ehsaas scholarship program is the same as the maximum age for applying for admission to undergraduate programs in the HEC.
Conditions of Disqualification
- If a student is found in any litigation, he is unfit for leadership.
- Benefit from any other scholarship or continuing grant in the educational period
- Enrolled in distance learning programs and affiliated colleges are disqualified for this program.
- Students of evening programs, Masters, and BA/BSc programs on a self-maintenance/self-support/self-finance basis, or with a higher fee structure will be ineligible.
- Associate degree holders if newly admitted to a lateral undergraduate degree program i.e. fifth semester are also disqualified.
Ehsaas Scholarship Program Required Documents
To apply for a scholarship for undergraduate students, the applicant must fill out the Undergraduate Scholarship Project online form and print a copy of the application.
- A copy of the applicant’s Form B or CNIC
- Copies of the CNICs of the parents, grandparents, or guardians
- Pay slips/Income Certificates (Father, Mother)
- Produce an income certificate of minimum stamp paper amount for a father who earns a daily wage, works as a shopkeeper, or is a privately employed laborer.
- In case you have utilities (electricity, gas, telephone, water), five copies of your last six months’ bills are required
- Rental agreements must be copied six times if the house is rented
- Each applicant and sibling must provide seven copies of their last fee receipts. If applicable
- Eight copies of medical bills/expenses-related documents. If applicable
- A picture of the house from the showing outside view

Application forms should not be submitted directly to HEC but should be applied online.
